Eddleston Horticultural Society was set up to promote an interest in gardening and other rural crafts.

We hold a plant sale usually in May and a Flower and Produce Show in early September.

This is always a great day out with lots of trophies to win – some of them confined to Eddleston villagers

Classes include: flowers, vegetables, preserves, home brewing, baking, handicrafts, photography, flower arranging and, not forgetting our young villagers:  pictures, cakes, poems, tartan designing to name a selection

New committee members and volunteers are always welcome
