Eddleston is a delightful conservation village in the soft rolling Scottish Borders’ countryside. Only four miles north of the county town of Peebles and eighteen miles south of Edinburgh. We are well situated for both city and local shopping as well as tourist and leisure activities
Eddleston is made up of the village itself plus quite a number of surrounding farms – a total population close to 300
Eddleston is a popular area for walkers and cyclists, close to the Portmore, Estate and home to the Great Polish Map of Scotland a short walk away in the grounds of the Barony Castle Hotel
There is a thriving local community with clubs and activities for all ages from pre-school to senior citizens – for more details, have a look at our Clubs and Activities sections
We will be noting upcoming events on our website so if you have an event you would like to publicise, just let us know
Do you have any local news, information or interesting photos which you would like to share? Would you like to see your house or garden on our home page or in the photo gallery. Maybe it’s there already? Why don’t you have a look.
We often get enquiries from abroad from people seeking their roots or just wanting to catch up with old friends and they love to see what’s going on
